RoadMap
STRENGTHENING ORGANIZATIONS

As FACT was preparing to spend out, social justice organizations and funders alike expressed the need to continue its Management Assistance Program (MAP) in some way. In 2010, FACT announced that it was spinning off its MAP into RoadMap, a new free-standing entity based on the MAP model that would be available to foundations and non-profit organizations on a fee-for-service basis.

RoadMap ‘s mission is to strengthen the social justice sector through capacity building. It’s a national network of 16 organizational development consultants experienced in social change practices with regional hubs and affiliate consultants and strategic partners.

What makes RoadMap different?

  • It offers customized services and tools to meet the needs of social justice organizations in deep capacity building engagements of 12-18 months allowing for more sustainable results
  • It enables funders to design and customize capacity building program for their grantees without the high cost of creating an in-house program
  • It promotes social movement development and field building through peer exchange programs and their learning laboratory programs
